Fabian Jose Rodriguez, resident of Boron, CA died unexpectedly on October 31, 2019, at the age of 35.
Fabian is survived by his grandmother, Mary Ann Suvia, his siblings, Eddie, Nichole, Emily, Emilio and Samantha; his uncles, Albert, Robert and Tommy. He is predeceased by his mother, Edie Rodriguez; stepfather Alberto Contreras; and is son, Nick Rodriguez.
Fabian was born in Mission Hills, CA on August 12, 1984 to Edie Rodriguez. He completed high school and was in the process of completing his Associates degree in Liberal Arts. On August 5, 2005 he married Rachel Mitchell, unfortunately, they parted ways in August 15, 2015. On December 28, 2000, he welcomed his handsome son, Nick, who was the most important part of his life and also tragically taken from us on February 11, 2019 as a result of gun violence in Aurora, Illinois.
Fabian was a big kid at heart. He loved his family immensely. He enjoyed music, oldies, rap, old school, and R&B were his favorite genres, his favorite artist was 2Pac and Drake; All eyes on me was his favorite song. Fabian loved 4th of July and summer was his favorite time of year because he loved barbecues. He loved snickers candy bars, Coke, Kool-Aid, Rocky Road ice cream, and chicken enchiladas. He enjoyed sports, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Denver Broncos were the teams he rooted for. He was also a spiritual man and involved in bible studies to strengthen his faith. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Fabian was also tragically taken from us violently. Some people are judgemental because of the situation that Fabian found himself in, but he was paying for his mistakes and was scheduled to be coming home soon. As a matter of fact, he was excited about being home and being able to be with his remaining family. It was devastating learning that this would not be taking place. Instead we going to have to cherish our memories of him and celebrate his life.
