Freddie Hall, Sr.

Freddie Hall Sr., of California City, California, passed away peacefully on July 17,
2026,at the age of 93. He was born in Erie, Kansas, to George and Crystal Hall. He
was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, as one of eight children. He graduated from Technical
High School in Omaha on June 30, 1951.
On October 20, 1955, Freddie proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he
faithfully served his country for 20 years. During his distinguished military career, he
served in Ajax, Hercules, and Hawk missile units as a crewman, section chief, platoon
sergeant, first sergeant, and Army recruiter. He retired from active duty on November 1,
1975.
Following his military service, Freddie began a second career with the Gillette Company
in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he worked for 15 years. He later worked for Johnson
Controls for five and a half years before retiring.
In October 2020, Freddie moved to California City, California, where he became a
faithful and devoted member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed a life
filled with faith, family, and fellowship. His greatest passions were bowling and traveling,
through which he formed many lasting friendships. Above all, he treasured his family
and was the proud father of 9 beloved children. He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren,                                                                                                                                                                          a host of great-grandchildren who brought him joy, extended family members, and dear                                                                                                                                                                        friends, whose lives were touched by his kindness, service, and unwavering love.
Freddie's legacy of faith, dedication, and love for his family will continue to live on in the
hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
