A Prayer for our Dad in Heaven

We come to you today with heavy hearts as we remember our dad who has passed away and now resides with you in heaven. We miss him dearly and wish he were still with us.

We thank you for the time we had with our dad and the memories we cherish. We thank you for the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the example he set for us.

We ask that you bless our dad in heaven with your love and eternal peace. May he know how much he is missed and loved by us here on earth. We ask that you give him the joy of being reunited with loved ones who have gone before him.

We also ask that you comfort us here on earth who miss him dearly. Help us to remember the happy times and to keep his legacy alive by living our lives in a way that would make him proud. We pray all of this in your holy name.
