Larry Corley's life, which began on 02/01/1954, was a powerful reminder of the impact one person can have on the world. Raised in south central LA by his loving mother, Rose, and siblings, Larry learned valuable lessons in compassion, kindness, and protection. After graduating from David Starr Jordan high school in 1972, Larry's service in the National Guards from December 1972 demonstrated his commitment to serving others. His 22-year career at Amtrak from 1992 to 2014 showcased his dedication and perseverance. Larry's hobbies, including working on cars, fishing, and driving RC gas cars, brought him immense delight. As an exceptional individual, Larry's presence left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he touched. Fondly known as "pops," he was a source of inspiration and guidance for young men. The memories of Larry's life, treasured by his eight children, wife, and 15 grandchildren, will continue to inspire love, laughter, and cherished moments for generations to come.
