Norma Jean was a phenomenal, special, and unique woman who will be dearly missed by those who truly knew her. She will be remembered most by her smile, her infectious personality, and the impact she left on those around her. Norma Leaves behind 6 of her 10 siblings; Carolyn (Pie), Clifford, Nadine (Dean), Brenda (Jo), Lavelle (Fatty), and Lewis. She also leaves behind 2 children Shawny Smith and Chavon Richardson and 7 grandchildren Janel, Kierra, Glenny, Shyanne, Myah, Tionne, and Jawuan, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces & nephews. She lived a great and long life with her husband Anthony Thomas (Tony) who unfortunately parted this world before her, but we take peace in knowing that he will meet her at the gates.
We would also like to give special thanks to her sister in-law Ms. Cynthia Thomas for amazingly taking care of Norma with love, care, and kindness until God called her home. For those who got to speak with Norma often even if it was for a short time, you could never forget her laugh and her wit. Norma lived through life loved by those around her and we will remember the many memories that we shared with her before her passing. We love you Norma and you will be missed.
Norma your daily phone calls to see what I'm cooking and how good it sound will be missed, each bite I will be thinking of you!
