Raymond Sierra, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, pastor, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born on September 17, 1945, in Hanford, California, to Rito and Rosie Sierra, Raymond lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service to others. He was a devoted pastor whose presence brought comfort, strength, and joy to all who knew him. Known for his warmth, humor, and larger-than-life spirit, Raymond had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and welcomed.
Raymond was a loving and dedicated husband to his wife, Mary Sierra, and a proud father to his children: Steve Sierra, Sarah Perdiguerra, and Sonia Sierra. He was a cherished grandfather to Emily Sierra, Samuel Sierra, Sophie Perdiguerra, Miles Aguilar, Charlotte Perdiguerra, Amelia Aguilar, and Jeremiah Aguilar, each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.
He is also lovingly remembered by his sons-in-law Joe Perdiguerra and Josh Aguilar, daughter-in-law Riselle Sierra, and his siblings Becky Sosa, Ralph Sierra, and Molly Llamas.
Raymond was preceded in death by his siblings Rachel Leon, Ruben Sierra, and Rene Sawicki.
A man of deep faith and compassion, Raymond dedicated his life to serving his family, his church, and his community. His legacy is one of love, resilience, generosity, and unwavering belief in the goodness of people. He will be remembered as the life of the party, a source of strength, and a guiding light to so many.
Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
