Roger Edward Musser, 81, passed away on June 3rd, 2022. Though advanced age took him away from this mortal existence, his passion for conspiracy ‘facts’, politics and problem solving will always be with us.
Roger was a Carpenter, Photographer, Master Machinist, Entrepreneur and had way too many other skills to mention here. His extraordinary imagination and calibrated eyeballs allowed him to envision mechanisms with his mind’s eye. He had a natural ability to Design, Troubleshoot and Reverse Engineer any device or object imaginable.
Over the years his hobbies included Hunting, Rifle Collecting, Astronomy, Astral Photography, Hiking, Dune Buggy Racing and all things Star - be it Trek, Gate or Wars. He always wore Cowboy boots and liked to think of himself as one as well.
Roger was an Eagle Scout with multiple Bronze, Silver and Gold Palms. He was an Order of The Arrow Brotherhood Member, Scoutmaster and Scouting Unit Commissioner. He was a member of the Canejo Valley Archers, Silver Arrow Bow Hunters, President of Stump Jumpers Jeep Club, National Rifle Association (NRA) Endowment Member and Competition Director and Co-Founder of National Off-Road Racing Association (NORRA). Although he did not serve in the Military (due to extensive hearing loss from shooting firearms!) he found many ways to Serve his Country and was a Patriot in the truest sense.
Roger was Married to his wife of 53 years, JoNell Stewart, on September 21st, 1968 and Sealed for Time and All Eternity on July 3rd, 1975 in the Provo Utah Temple. He is survived by his brother, Ronald “Bud” Musser and Five Sons: Terry, Cornell, Justin, Joshua and Zachery. He is an Uncle to Glen and Cheryl; a Grand-Father to Brett, Veronica, Avery and Christian. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Lloyd Edward Musser and Helen Emma Stivers.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 11th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mojave, CA followed by Gravesite Dedication and Luncheon.
