Russell Lee Frisbie, a proud United States Marine, went to be
with the Lord on August 26, 2025, just two days before his 70th birthday.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Ann Frisbie; his parents, Robert and
Carolyn Frisbie; his siblings, John, Richard, Roberta, and Regina; his stepchildren,
Tina, Brandy, Brittany, and Brandon; his treasured grandchildren, Robbie and
Presley; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in
death by his brother, Robert, and his mother, Betty Jean.
Russell lived a life defined by courage, loyalty, and love. After bravely serving his
country as a Marine, he returned home and spent many years working
on a ranch. He found joy and peace among his beloved animals—his horses, dogs,
and cats. Later, he continued his hardworking spirit as a truck driver.
Beyond his service and work, Russell had a great love for history and all things
medieval. He especially enjoyed attending Renaissance Fairs, proudly dressing in his
knight’s gear, embracing the pageantry and honor of the times he so admired.
Russell will be remembered for his strong yet gentle spirit, his devotion to family,
and the honor with which he lived his life. His legacy of service, love, and strength
will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
