"Come to me,
all who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28
Vincent L. Stewart was born on January 22, 1970, to Sherlon A. Gilkey and Robert Earl Stewart. He grew up in San Fernando Valley, CA, under the loving guidance of his grandparents, Henry and Iola Gilkey. He attended Vaughn St. Elementary and graduated from John F Kennedy High School in 1988.
Vincent was employed in various jobs such as hospitality, delivery, warehouse and the medical industry. Often holding two jobs at a time to provide for his family. He was a father of seven and a proud Pop Pop of five, expecting a sixth grandchild in October 2024.
He's outstanding characteristics and qualities proved him to be a strong minded, kind hearted man, which enabled him to attract an array of friends and acquaintances.
Our beloved son, father, and brother brought much love and laughter to our lives, and will truly be missed.
"Your presence we miss, your memories we treasure, Loving you always, Forgetting you Never."
In memory of our beloved
Father, a pillar of strength,
A relentless worker, and a
Source of endless laughter and
Love.
Your spirit will forever
Dance in our hearts,
A constant reminder
Of the joy you brought into
Our lives
Though you mar be gone,
The memories we shared
Will never fade.
You will always be missed Daddy.
